Washington, PTI China has adopted an aggressive foreign policy towards India during the reign of President Xi Chinfing and opposes attempts to clarify the Line of Actual Control (LAC). According to a report by the US Parliament, this is why there has been a threat to peace between the two countries. The report also said that China wants to complicate the border dispute with India.

Face to face armies

According to this report by the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, Indian and Chinese forces have been standing face to face in several places in eastern Ladakh for seven weeks. This tension has been increased by the martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers in the bloody conflict in the Galvan Valley on 15 June. China has adopted an aggressive foreign policy towards India since 2013 under the leadership of Chinfing.

China wants to keep the dispute complicated

According to the report, India and China have made several agreements to restore peace and promote mutual trust on the border, but China wants to keep the border dispute entangled. Indeed, the Chinese government is scared of India's growing relations with the US and its allies. By creating tension on the border, China is trying to send a message to India that it should not become an ally of America.

Conflict increased after the arrival of Chinfing

Conflicts between the two countries have steadily increased since Chinfing took power in 2012. However, Chinfing has met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several steps were taken by both the countries to reduce the tension. China also maintains tension with neighbors to demonstrate its military might.
